Synopsis:

Alison, Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer were best friends, until Alison disappeared. Three years later, the remaining girls, now juniors at Rosewood Day, are leading separate, but charmed lives.

After living in Iceland, Aria returns home sophisticated and worldly. Emily is a champion swimmer, Hanna is the most popular girl in school, and Spencer's accomplishments make the average type-A valedictorian look like a slacker. But in Rosewood, appearances are deceiving, and when the girls start receiving mysterious texts signed by someone named A, the past threatens to ruin their perfect present. A claims to know all of their secrets—but who is A? How much does A really know? And what can four pretty little liars do to protect themselves from the truth?

My rating: ★★★★☆

I didn’t even know about these books until I watched the show. I’ve watched the show since the first episode aired, and I love it!! So much that I had to read the books!

Aria, Spencer, Emily, Hanna, and Alison are the best of friends! The do everything together and tell each other everything as well. Until one night Ali goes missing. What happened to her, nobody knows. The rest of the girls drift apart, barely talking to each other…until they stop talking completely.

Now two years later the girls are receiving threatening texts from god knows who! If they only knew all those shared secrets would come back and haunt them. The sender signs the messages –A... is it possible that Ali could be back? *cue dramatic music*

I seriously have no idea who A is, and I am dying to know!!! It can’t be Ali... unless she’s like haunting them, lol. But I’ve seen enough of the show to know it’s not her. So if Ali isn’t A... then who is?
