Synopsis:

Okay, so cats don't always land on their feet.

I know that better than most. Since rejoining the Pride, I've made big decisions and even bigger mistakes: the kind paid for with innocent lives. As the first and only female enforcer, I have plenty to prove to my father, the Pride, and myself. And with murdered toms turning up in our territory, I'm working harder than ever, though I always find the energy for a little after-hours recreation with Marc, my partner both on- and off-duty.

But not all of my mistakes are behind me. We're beginning to suspect that the dead are connected to a rash of missing human women and that they can all be laid at my feet--two or four, take your pick. And one horrible indiscretion may yet cost me more than I can bear...

My rating: ★★★★★

(Q & A format...kinda, lol)

Oh. My. God. This has officially become one of my favorite series!! I ABSOFREAKENLUTELY LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D Rachel is such an amazing writer! I love both her series (the other being Soul Screamers). She is one of my favorite authors!! And can I say that I love this cover! Its just gorgeous!!

So in this book, some rogue cat is out killing toms on Faythe’s territory for no apparent reason. Of course, its up to Faythe and  the enforcers to put a stop to this. And somehow all this is connected to missing strippers. Weird, right?

Along the way, Faythe hears from her ex, Andrew. You remember that sweet human guy? Well, he has some surprises in store of Faythe. And oh boy, they aren’t very pleasant. *cue dramatic music* lol. Also, she and Marc have some trouble in their relationship. Even though I already voiced that Marc isn’t one of my favorite people in the fictional world, he is still a jerk for what he did to Faythe! He‘s the one who dumped Faythe, and he’s still mad at her and yelling at her without letting her explain?!? Jeeze Marc!! Get a hold of yourself you insensitive jerk!!! *takes deep breath* I don’t even know why their breakup makes me so upset. This means Jace has a chance now! Yay! :D Love Jace…Ethan too ;)

While all this is going on-

Q: Wait, there’s more?!

A: Mmhm. Remember that other guy Luiz? The guy who was involved with Miguel on his little scheme? Well, he’s back!! *cue horror music* And you will never guess whose been helping him. Its all crazy! I cant wait to get my claws into Pride! Haha, see what I did there? I said claws because...*trails off* I know, I know. Bad joke -_- lol. Okay, review over.
